New, revisited Rain Cloud Suncatcher design featuring a hammered Brass Crescent Moon and sparkling little stars! 😍✨ This cloud design has gone through many iterations over the years, so I thought I’d do a fresh new take! Still made with lots of fun, sparkling crystals that sway to and fro’ when moved.
I promise you will brighten your every day, rain or shine, just to hang this raincloud suncatcher in your window or anywhere in your home. Indoors, direct sunlight dances through the wire wrapped crystals to dazzle your walls with tiny rainbows. So incredibly sparkly! 😍 Fantastic as gifts or just as a treat for yourself so you can smile every time you glance at it sparkling in the sun. ☺️
Every single aspect of this Raincloud was conceived, sketched on paper, designed, hand-formed from different gauges of solid Copper wire, hammered and wrapped together by me. Wire wrapped beads are selected for color and quality. I especially love the colors with a darker middle, blue crystal raindrops, and a "silver lining" of white crystals so clear they split light into rainbows!!! 🤩.
🌙 Featuring glittering crystal prism beads— approx. 55 total crystals! 🤩✨
🌧 Completely handforged with raw Copper and Brass. *Natural oxidation may occur, which just adds a lovely antiqued patina to the piece
⚡️ Full hanging length (from top of chain to very bottom raindrop): ≈10 inches. Approx. 6.5 inches wide.
We conceived the raincloud idea in 2015 while doing craft shows in Airzona, USA. Micah (the other half of M&B) thought, "Desert folks probably love it when it rains, so why not a raincloud suncatcher?" I designed and built the first one in a couple days, and it was immediately spoken for by a nice family at our very next show in Fountain Hills, AZ. This has gone on to be one of our most popular designs.
I work tirelessly and put so much meticulous care and attention into my Suncatchers, and it warms my heart to over the years have customers who cherish and love the pieces they've taken home.
I would love to answer any questions you may have about the design or creation process. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! ^_^
