Preorder- Bleeding Heart Vine Suncatcher— Copper or Silver Floral Pink and Magenta Crystal Suncatcher

I wanted this Suncatcher to feel like a captured moment in time— that beautiful, transitional period of blooms emerging from times of rest (conveyed by rows of Bleeding Hearts still closed, with a single open blossom leading the way); a flurry of activity, joy and life, conveyed through fluttering butterflies and sprouting leaves. 🌿💫

The large Butterfly Chrysalis Crystal is another element of the larger, unifying theme that we’re thrilled to share with you. 🦋✨

The creation process isn’t just the physical production. It begins with months of re-working the design. Each decision needs to be just right (cuz I’m picky 😆). Materials need to be sourced, inspected, and meticulously arranged. And even once I have everything in hand, the refinement process of tweaking, adjusting, and adapting the design to the material results in the final evolution of the idea.

Metalsmithing is a very labor-intensive process, like hand-forging each stem and vine, and sawing,  brazing, hammering, carving/grinding, sanding, polishing, etc., which is why we don’t make these often. But we’re so excited when we do!

Featuring a whopping total of 82 crystals, 22 of which are rare/discontinued (some more than 50 years old!), in 14 different shades of color (🙀),
including 8 focal prisms. 🌈✨

We use some of the best sparklies in the world! We’ve spent almost a decade collecting unusual gems, crystals, in a ton of colors to achieve beautiful ombré/color gradients. We hope these special pieces bring you as much joy as they do me!
